Our Naturopathic Services
Denice has been practicing since 2000, helping people restore balance in body and mind. Your treatment plan will address the causes of your health issues, not just the symptoms, so you can be healthy and strong, just as you're meant to be. Denice will encourage and support your journey to maintain a healthy lifestyle and dietary choices which prevent disease and maintain good health.
A range of medicines are used, including:
- Herbal medicines– nature’s gifts wrapped up in plants! A combination of herbs are mixed up for you during your consultation.
- Nutritional medicines– choosing the foods that suit your body, your needs and your lifestyle; assessing which nutrients you may be deficient in, and how you can increase them to a healthy level.
- Homeopathy– energy medicine to effect the subtle body, the mind, and emotions and therefore also the physical body.
- Bach flowers– the essence of the healing properties in flowers, for use in balancing emotional states.
- Essential oils– the distillation of the potent oils of aromatic plants, used externally, to soothe, invigorate and balance.
Denice will also discuss with you the lifestyle factors (such as yoga, meditation, exercise, journalling, mindfulness, energy work, breathing practices, and intention) that can improve your health.

Naturopathic medicine is based on well-researched and time-tested principles:
- The body has considerable power to heal itself, and the role of the naturopath is to encourage this natural process. We walk alongside you in your health journey.
- Seek the underlying cause of a disease rather than simply suppressing the symptoms. Symptoms are expressions of the body's natural attempt to heal, and the causes can come from the physical, mental/emotional, and spiritual levels.
- First, do no harm - by employing safe and effective natural therapies
- The individual is viewed as a whole, composed of a complex interaction of physical, mental/emotional, spiritual, social, and other factors. Your Naturopath understands you and the inter-relationships with these factors and your environment.
- Prevention is the best cure, which is accomplished through education and a lifestyle that supports health.
