Yoga classes : AUTHENTIC, INSPIRING, AND FRIENDLY

YogaWe are a unique yoga school in a peaceful bush setting at Annangrove, in the Hills District, Sydney. When you come to our classes, we find out what you want from your yoga class. We understand that everyone has different bodies, with different needs.

So don't worry if you are a beginner, or if you haven't done yoga in many years! We talk with you about what's happening for you, and design an individual yoga program that suits your needs. And if you have been doing yoga for years we will work with you to develop your practice in the ways that you need to.                                                                                               We have been teaching yoga at our dedicated yoga studio since 1993. Our classes are small, which enables the teacher to provide alternatives if you need them, so you can work to your potential. We know from experience, that when you enjoy your yoga practice, you are more likely to want to do it!
We know it's important to have a space where you can slow down the pace of life, get some space, and deal with stress (whether it's in you body or your mind). In our classes, it's more important how you do your practice.
Throughout the class, students are learning how to breathe properly, improve posture, and manage their tension. We show you how to stretch out tightness and strengthen and tone muscles, all in a safe way. Our emphasis is on helping you to understand your body and to draw connections with your thoughts and feelings.
Your yoga teacher takes a personal interest in you, helping you apply the yoga skills to manage emotions, deal with stress, and relax. Many of our students have had success in their yoga practice in dealing with conditions such as back and neck tension, insomnia, anxiety and depression allowing them to lead a happier, healthier life.

A consultation with Denice Finnegan, our Naturopath, will help you to restore balance, so you body can be healthy and strong, just as it's meant to be. You're treated as a whole person, not just a bunch of symptoms, or a single body part. YOGA CLASSES - part of your personal development

Yoga is turning your attention inwards. It's a time when you listen to yourself, and respond in a way that nurtures you and promotes your good health. Often our lives are filled with doing many things, lots of noise and activity, lots of demands on us. This means we tend to pay very little attention to what our body is saying to us.
