Yoga classes : AUTHENTIC, INSPIRING, AND FRIENDLY
We are a unique yoga school in a peaceful bush setting at Annangrove, in the Hills District, Sydney. When you come to our classes, we find out what you want from your yoga class. We understand that everyone has different bodies, with different needs.
We are pleased to be able to offer a Naturopathic service. A consultation with Denice Finnegan, our Naturopath, will help you to restore balance, so you body can be healthy and strong, just as it's meant to be. You're treated as a whole person, not just a bunch of symptoms, or a single body part. Denice will encourage and support you to learn and maintain lifestyle and dietary choices which not only prevent disease, but keep you healthy. A range of medicines are used, including:
- herbal medicines – nature’s gifts wrapped up in plants! A combination is mixed up for you during your consultation.
- nutritional medicines – choosing the foods that suit your body, your needs and your lifestyle, assessing which nutrients you may be deficient in, and how you can increase them to a healthy level.
- homeopathy – energy medicine to effect the subtle body, the mind, and emotions and therefore also the physical body.
- Bach flowers – the essence of the healing properties in flowers, for use in balancing emotional states.
- essential oils – the distillation of the potent oils of aromatic plants, used externally, to soothe, invigorate and balance.
- iridology – using the map of the iris to assess the health of the body.
YOGA CLASSES - part of your personal development
Yoga is turning your attention inwards. It's a time when you listen to yourself, and respond in a way that nurtures you and promotes your good health. Often our lives are filled with doing many things, lots of noise and activity, lots of demands on us. This means we tend to pay very little attention to what our body is saying to us.
